I must now deal with a deferred division relating to the motion regarding investment funds trading in the residential property market. On Wednesday,17 January, on the question, "That the amendment to the amendment be agreed to", a division was claimed and in accordance with Standing Order 80(2), that division must be taken now.

I must now put the question on the Government amendment to the motion. The question is: "That the amendment be made".

As the gap is ten and the Government has just voted to allow vulture funds to continue to plunder families across this State, I am asking for a vote other than by electronic means under Standing Order 83(3)( b ).

As the Deputy is a teller and the difference in the vote is ten or less, the division will proceed.
