============================================================

Verona Murphy (CC), Wexford

I welcome the delegation in the Distinguished Visitors Gallery to the House, including the speaker of the People's Republic of China. I ask my colleagues to extend a warm welcome - a céad míle fáilte - to our guests from the National People's Congress who are here on a benchmarking visit to the Houses of the Oireachtas. The delegation is accompanied by the Ambassador of China to Ireland, H. E. Mr. Zhao Xiyuan.
I welcome all our visitors in the Public Gallery.
