This is not Animal Farm . We are all equal. If people are to be paid properly in Ireland, they should be paid properly in other countries as well. We have to have proper standards in the workplace on pay, clean air etc. We have to take care of the workers no matter where they are in the world. This is outside the scope of the Bill, but I wish to put one case on the Seanad record. It relates to an Irish citizen in Togo who has been in prison without trial for the past three and a half years. I know that this does not fall under the Minister of State's remit, but it is important to highlight it.
