Section 151(4) of the Children Act 2001 is amended by the substitution of "or 3, or conditional release under section 2A," for "or 3"." These are consequential amendments to other enactments and are technical. Amendment No. 61 provides for a technical change to the Children Act 2001, providing that supervision of a child in the community under section 151 commences on the conditional release of the child. Amendment No. 63 is a technical change to section 25 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007, clarifying that the definition of imprisonment includes periods of conditional release, while amendments Nos. 64 and 65 concern the Criminal Justice (Forensic Evidence and DNA Database) Act 2014. The amendments clarify the application of the 2014 Act to persons transferred into the State under the framework decision or convention, while amendment No. 66 clarifies the definition of imprisonment in the Criminal Justice (Sexual Offences) Act 2017 to include periods on conditional release.
