An tOrd Gnó - Order of Business Dail Éireann — 2023-07-11 ============================================================ Pádraig O'Sullivan (FF), Cork North-Central I raise the issue of a light rail system planned for Cork city. I understand the system, as the line is currently configured, would not connect into Kent Station. There seems to be disagreement between the National Transport Authority, NTA, which will fund it, and Irish Rail as to what they would like to do. My side of the city is getting heavy investment in rail, which is welcome, but if we are to have a fully integrated light rail system for the city, it should at the very least come into the city centre and be connected to Kent Station. --- Source: Houses of the Oireachtas.
