Ceisteanna ar Pholasaí nó ar Reachtaíocht - Questions on Policy or Legislation Dail Éireann — 2024-02-08 ============================================================ Bernard Durkan (FG), Kildare North In the context of family law and its application, I again raise the matter of the ongoing pursuit of parents and children by means of the continued and indiscriminate use of the alien concept of parental alienation, no pun intended, and the lack of any investigation or indication that matters are about to be investigated or in any way ventilated in that light. The in camera rule was originally intended to protect children and families. This cannot happen now, however, because Tusla is barred from any investigations. I ask that a special effort be made to investigate what is going on and to bring an end to the concept to which I refer. --- Source: Houses of the Oireachtas.
