Road Traffic Bill 2024: Second Stage
Dail Éireann — 2024-02-13
============================================================

Danny Healy-Rae (IND), Kerry

I am glad to get the opportunity to speak on this Bill. I too want to commiserate with all the families who lost family members in recent times or in the past in Kerry or right around the country. It is something no family will ever forget. We all sympathise and empathise with them.
I too am very disappointed that the Minister, Deputy Eamon Ryan, is not here to listen to this debate. Of course, he is the kind of Minister who knows it all. He does not want to listen to the views of Members. I am sad and disappointed with that. I want that recorded.
