An tOrd Gnó - Order of Business Dail Éireann — 2024-09-24 ============================================================ Aengus Ó Snodaigh (SF), Dublin South-Central It is 31 years since the decriminalisation of sexual activity between men and six years since the Government, when apologising for the State wrongs, promised it would quash any such convictions which wrecked the lives of many. Disregard legislation was recommended by the working group report published last year by the Minister for Justice. She also stated in January of this year that the heads of the Bill would be published this year. However, in the Government's promised legislative programme for autumn that was published, it appears only as "work ongoing". When will the heads of the Bill be published so that once and for all we can see some progress in addressing the wrongs by the State? --- Source: Houses of the Oireachtas.
