Covid-19 (Childcare): Statements Dail Éireann — 2020-05-06 ============================================================ Emer Higgins (FG), Dublin Mid-West If crèches close their doors permanently, prices will rise. Without accessible or affordable childcare, childcare providers who want to return to work, and families who need them to be able to return to work, will not be able to do so. For many working families their childcare service is the most important cog in their wheel. That is why we need to look at how we support this industry.
