Housing is the greatest issue affecting my generation and I will not apologise to any Member of the permanent Opposition that will stand in this Chamber and ask where young Fianna Fáil TDs are. I am proud to be a young Fianna Fáil TD. I am proud to come from a working-class republican background. I am proud to stand in this Chamber and represent young people across rural Ireland because I am impacted by the housing crisis. My generation is impacted by the housing crisis and I know what it means to face unaffordable rents, unaffordable housing and unaffordable purchase prices, and I will stand up in this Chamber and say it. I will not apologise to a Member who asked where the Fianna Fáil TDs were and when she had the chance to sit here and listen, she got up and left because it is more important for her to post her video on social media than actually listen to what is going on.
