In the engagement I have had with then Minister for education, Deputy McEntee, and the Minister, Deputy Naughton, we have prioritised the school building programme in the national development plan. For the next five years we have a total allocation of €7.5 billion. That is up from €5 billion over the previous five years in the national development plan, which was agreed in 2020 or 2021. That will allow for significant ramping-up of the overall delivery of school buildings and, in addition, the special education needs, which are critical in overall school provision.
The Department has to work with the allocation it has and manage its pipeline in that context. I can ask the Department of Education and Youth to provide a more specific note on the timeline for that particular school.
