Cabinet Committees Dail Éireann — 2026-02-24 ============================================================ Barry Heneghan (IND), Dublin Bay North The announcement of almost €26 million for healthcare disability projects in north Dublin today is very welcome. I have had ongoing engagement with the Government about these priorities at Beaumont Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Francis Hospice, St. Michael's House and Chanel College in Coolock. I have consistently highlighted how urgent this investment is for the northside. I really appreciate the constructive approach taken by the Government. Nonetheless, the reality is that older people and people with disabilities in north Dublin are under serious strain. While this investment is welcome, what people really want to know is when the delivery will be. They want to know when the shovels will be in the ground. Will the Taoiseach commit to following up directly with the Department of Health and the HSE to ensure clear timelines are in place for these projects? --- Source: Houses of the Oireachtas.
