Gabhaim buíochas freisin le m’fhoireann i gContae Loch Garman as an tacaíocht luachmhar a thug siad dom. Cé nach mbeidh an Dáil ina shuí, tá a fhios agam go mbeidh na Teachtaí Dála ag déanamh ionadaíochta ar na daoine ina nDáilcheantair i gcónaí. Tá súil agam go gcuirfidh siad am ar fáil freisin dá muintir agus dá gcairde. Tá mé ag súil go mór le hiad a fheiceáil i mí Mheán Fómhair agus go mbeidh siad athnuaite agus ullamh do théarma an fhómhair.
As we come to the end of the Dáil term and head into the summer recess, I extend to all Deputies my gratitude for their co-operation. On behalf of all the Members, I thank Elaine Gunn and her large team for their support and hard work. I thank the Leas-Cheann Comhairle and my Acting Chairs who make it possible for me to carry out all of the other duties. I thank John Walsh and his staff in the dining room, Darren Brady and his staff, Alan Ruane and his team of ushers, and all those who assist us here in Leinster House. I thank my own staff in County Wexford for their valuable support and my private secretary, Jill Gray, and Barry Ryan, head of security.
Even though the Dáil is not sitting, I know TDs will continue to represent their constituents and I hope they also make time to enjoy the company of their family and friends. It is very important to come back refreshed. I look forward to seeing you all in September revitalised and ready for the autumn term.
