Ceisteanna ar Reachtaíocht a Gealladh - Questions on Promised Legislation Dail Éireann — 2020-12-09 ============================================================ Micheál Martin (FF), Cork South-Central It is indeed. Edgar Graham was murdered in 1983. It was a shocking murder. It happened between lectures. I think he was with Dermot Nesbitt at the time. It should be roundly condemned by all parties as a murder most foul. His family has received very little in terms of a report from the historical enquiries team, HET, investigations into his murder. It was callous, it was cruel and it was cowardly. He seems to have been singled out for his views and opinions as opposed to anything else. That is what the IRA said at the time - let this be a lesson to anybody who defends the policies of the British Government. It is a murder that deserves condemnation all around and it should be roundly condemned. Work should continue with the family by the authorities in Northern Ireland to give satisfactory replies. --- Source: Houses of the Oireachtas.
