Flood Relief Schemes Dail Éireann — 2026-02-12 ============================================================ Catherine Ardagh (FF), Dublin South-Central This question relates to the Camac flood alleviation programme. The Camac, as we know, is one of Dublin’s main rivers. It rises in Saggart in the south west, flows eastwards towards Clondalkin, Bluebell, Inchicore and Kilmainham and joins the Liffey at Heuston Station. The River Camac flood alleviation scheme is a critically important piece of infrastructure that will help up to 413 homes along the river. Residents quite clearly remain concerned about flood risk, particularly in view of the increased rainfall we have seen. In January 2025, the bank of the River Camac at Inchicore collapsed. Will the Minister of State provide a timeline in respect of this matter. --- Source: Houses of the Oireachtas. Licensed under CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
