Flood Relief Schemes Dail Éireann — 2026-02-12 ============================================================ Catherine Ardagh (FF), Dublin South-Central With all due respect, I think I have raised this at every possible forum. I have raised it in Dublin City Council, with the Minister of State's predecessor, at the Committee of Public Accounts and in the Dáil. We are all on the same page here. What we are not seeing is any urgency from the OPW to steer this scheme and programme. It is one of the flood alleviation programmes that is just left on the sidelines. I ask the Minister of State today to commit to me that he will take a personal interest in the Camac flood alleviation programme. That is all I am asking. I want the Minister of State to take a personal interest and have his own meeting. I have asked Dublin City Council, South Dublin County Council and senior representatives of the OPW at the Committee of Public Accounts, and all I am hearing is that there are significant delays with hydraulic modelling. I want the Minister of State to take a personal interest in the Camac flood alleviation scheme. --- Source: Houses of the Oireachtas.
