I move amendment No. 4:
In page 18, between lines 33 and 34, to insert the following:
“(6) Where recommending to the Government persons for appointment as ordinary members of the Commission, the Service shall give due regard to the desirability of the membership being broadly reflective of the diversity of Irish society, while also endeavouring to ensure representation in the ordinary membership of persons to whom the Equal Status Acts 2000 to 2018 apply.”.
