Neutrality and Triple Lock: Motion [Private Members] Dail Éireann — 2026-09-16 ============================================================ Peadar Tóibín (AON), Meath West Gabhaim buíochas leis an Teachta faoi sin. That led to €100 million in costs and many people's healthcare services being significantly disrupted. The triple lock is part of the Nice II referendum. Every house in the country had a leaflet put in their door. If this Government wants to change the triple lock, it has a moral and democratic responsibility to go to the people in relation to that decision. --- Source: Houses of the Oireachtas.
