Covid-19 Vaccination Programme: Statements Dail Éireann — 2021-04-22 ============================================================ Michael Collins (IND), Cork South-West To clarify a question Deputy Christopher O'Sullivan asked about when vaccination centres are opening in west Cork, I thankfully have the answer, for once in my life. My brother is a councillor and member of the south-west regional health forum. He tells me that the Clonakilty centre will be open on 3 May, which is important for the Clonakilty, Bandon and the Skibbereen area. The Bantry primary care centre will be open on 28 April. That is a bit of clarity. The Tánaiste said that anyone who refuses the AstraZeneca vaccine will have to go to the back of the queue. Many people I know in the 60 to 70 age bracket may have a history of clotting in their family. They should not be put to the back of the queue.
