Health (Amendment) (No. 3) Bill 2021: Committee and Remaining Stages Seanad Éireann — 2021-12-03 ============================================================ Lorraine Clifford-Lee (FF), Nominated by the Taoiseach To respond to the specific point made by the Senator, I give an undetaking to liaise directly with the Minister, Deputy Donnelly, to ensure provision in this respect is ring-fenced in the regulations. This is a very important point. I know the Minister will be very open to that. This has been a very difficult period, particularly for women, who have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. That is especially the case for women seeking a termination, whether in Ireland or abroad. We need to do everything to help the passage of this legislation while ensuring the rights of such women are looked after. I will liaise with the Minister on that point and get back to the Senator on it. --- Source: Houses of the Oireachtas. Licensed under CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
