Summary of this debate

Auto-generated

Before I ask the Minister to respond, I ask Members to extend a warm céad míle fáilte to a large and very welcome delegation from Malta, which has joined us in the Distinguished Visitors Gallery. George Vella, President of the Republic of Malta, and they are accompanied by somebody well known to us, H.E. We are discussing legislation on lobbying and, as the delegation can see, it has not attracted a huge number of Members.

Perhaps if this were the Maltese Parliament, many more members would be in attendance. Anyway, we have to get on with the business.

Built by scoring every sentence in the debate on how distinctive its language is, then quoting the highest-scoring ones back word for word and in the order spoken. Nothing is paraphrased or invented — if a sentence appears here, it was said in the chamber. Drawn from 120 words across 1 contributions by 1 speakers.

Before I ask the Minister to respond, I ask Members to extend a warm céad míle fáilte to a large and very welcome delegation from Malta, which has joined us in the Distinguished Visitors Gallery. The delegation is led by H.E. Dr. George Vella, President of the Republic of Malta, and they are accompanied by somebody well known to us, H.E. Mr. Giovanni Buttigieg. We hope you enjoy your visit. We are privileged to have you. We are discussing legislation on lobbying and, as the delegation can see, it has not attracted a huge number of Members. Perhaps if this were the Maltese Parliament, many more members would be in attendance. Anyway, we have to get on with the business.
