I move:

That, notwithstanding anything in the Standing Orders relative to Public Business:

(1) the Seanad shall meet in the Seanad Chamber at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday, 1st October, 2020, and the following arrangements shall apply:

( a ) Commencement matters shall be taken in accordance with Standing Order 29;

( b ) Standing Order 30 shall stand suspended;

(c) There shall be no Order of Business;

( d ) The business to be taken shall be confined to the items set out in the Schedule to this paragraph and, accordingly, no other business shall be taken unless the Seanad shall otherwise order on motion made by the Leader of the House or such other Senator as she may authorise in that behalf.

Suspension of Sitting.

On the conclusion of Commencement Matters, the sitting shall be suspended until 12.15 p.m.;

Motion regarding the Earlier Signature of the Forestry (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2020.

Subject to the passage by the Dáil of the Forestry (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2020, the motion regarding the Earlier Signature of the Bill shall be taken at 12.15 p.m. without debate and any division demanded thereon shall be postponed until immediately after the Order of Business on Wednesday, 7th October, 2020;

State Airports (Shannon Group) (Amendment)Bill 2020 – Second Stage.

The proceedings on Second Stage of the State Airports (Shannon Group) (Amendment) Bill 2020, shall be taken on conclusion of the Motion regarding the Earlier Signature of the Forestry (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2020, and shall, if not previously concluded, be brought to a conclusion after two hours and any division demanded thereon shall be postponed until immediately after the Order of Business on Wednesday, 7th October, 2020;

(2) The Seanad on its rising on Thursday, 1st October, 2020, shall adjourn until 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday, 7th October, 2020."
