Summary of this debate

Auto-generated

Before we go to our next speaker, I wish to extend a céad mile fáilte, a hundred thousand welcomes, to the President of the Parliament of Cyprus, Ms Annita Demetriou. She has been visiting us with a delegation over the last few days. She is joined by someone well known to us all.

Ms Charis Christodoulidou, who has served as ambassador for a number of years and who will leave us shortly. We speak a lot in this Chamber about the desirability of having more women involved in politics and more young people. The people of Cyprus have not only spoken about it but they have done something about it in electing Ms Demetriou who is the youngest speaker of any parliament in the world.

Built by scoring every sentence in the debate on how distinctive its language is, then quoting the highest-scoring ones back word for word and in the order spoken. Nothing is paraphrased or invented — if a sentence appears here, it was said in the chamber. Drawn from 145 words across 1 contributions by 1 speakers.

Before we go to our next speaker, I wish to extend a céad mile fáilte, a hundred thousand welcomes, to the President of the Parliament of Cyprus, Ms Annita Demetriou. She has been visiting us with a delegation over the last few days. She is joined by someone well known to us all. Her Excellency is accompanied by H.E.

It is a privilege to have her here today. You are welcome, my friend.
