Summary of this debate

Auto-generated

I call on the Chief Whip to propose an amendment to the Order of Business. It is proposed that notwithstanding anything in the Standing Orders that the Motion re approval of nomination by the Taoiseach of a Member of the Government shall be taken now.

The following arrangements shall apply to the debate: if not previously concluded, the proceedings shall be brought to a conclusion after 52 minutes. Speeches shall be confined to a single round and the order of speaking and allocation of time shall be as follows: speeches by the Taoiseach, Tánaiste and Minister, Deputy Eamon Ryan, five minutes each; speeches by representatives of Sinn Féin, the Labour Party, Social Democrats, People Before Profit-Solidarity, the Regional Group, the Rural Independent Group and the Independent Group, five minutes per party or group; and speeches by non-aligned Members, two minutes; and Members may share time.

Built by scoring every sentence in the debate on how distinctive its language is, then quoting the highest-scoring ones back word for word and in the order spoken. Nothing is paraphrased or invented — if a sentence appears here, it was said in the chamber. Drawn from 149 words across 3 contributions by 2 speakers.
