Summary of this debate

Auto-generated

For the information of the House, I wish to advise the House that our Superintendent, Ms Teresa Doolan, has tendered her resignation and will be leaving the service here to move to the Department of Justice. It is significant that in the 100 years of this House's existence, she has been the first female Superintendent. Noel Murphy is going to take on the responsibilities of Superintendent.

He is very well known and very well liked and is highly respected by all the parliamentary community, not least for the outstanding work he has been doing in committees, including the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence, and the North-South parliamentary body. We wish him well in the duties he is taking on. We are grateful both of them are making themselves available to help us with these particular responsibilities and we wish them well.

Built by scoring every sentence in the debate on how distinctive its language is, then quoting the highest-scoring ones back word for word and in the order spoken. Nothing is paraphrased or invented — if a sentence appears here, it was said in the chamber. Drawn from 263 words across 5 contributions by 2 speakers.
