On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 35 of 360 decisive votes (1 abstention excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Does Deputy Carthy want to address amendment No. 12 now? If not, I can let other Members in.
Do any other Members wish to speak?
Amendments Nos. 8 and 9 are related and may be discussed together by agreement. Is that agreed? Agreed.
We must conclude.
As the time has expired, I am now required to put the following question in accordance with an order of the Dáil of 16 June 2026: "That in respect of each of the sections undisposed of, the section is hereby agreed to in Committee, the Title is hereby agreed to in Committee, the Bill is accordingly reported to the House without amendment, Fourth Stage is hereby completed and the Bill is hereby passed."
The Select Committee on Health has completed its consideration of the Health (Amendment) Bill 2025 and has made amendments thereto.
It looks like the Government is hell-bent on introducing a social media ban for young people under the age of 16, despite the research and experience from other countries telling us it simply will not work. I am asking for speaking time on this really important issue so the Taoiseach and Tánaiste, instead of speaking on podcasts and in media interviews, can come to this House to debate it.
How many children experiencing poverty is too many for this Government? The Taoiseach and Tánaiste have both said child poverty is a priority for the Government. Everything seems to be a priority for this Government, but outcomes are not improving and we see that justified in the Children's Rights Alliance report this week, which told us that one in 12 children is experiencing poverty in this country. The Minister will tell me about school meals or he might talk about school books as if they are silver bullets. We …
I take this opportunity to thank the Minister of State for reading, word for word, what is already on the Official Record of the Dáil. It is a bit of an insult to everybody involved here this morning that this is pretty much the exact same speech we have heard very recently. The Fine Gael Minister for sport, Deputy Patrick O’Donovan, has told us that sport and politics should not mix. That same Minister for sport, who demands an invitation to the opening of an envelope in every sports club, has the cheek to tell us…
Speak through the Chair, Deputy.
Deputy Doherty can do this outside. This is not a conversation. There is no back and forth. The Tánaiste can finish.
Deputy Doherty has one minute.
We will revert to Question No. 142 in the name of Deputy Cathal Crowe. It will be taken now by Deputy Tony McCormack. I apologise to the Deputy for having skipped it.
Thank you, Tánaiste. We move to Question No. 145
Thank you, Deputy Doherty.
Question No. 146 will now be taken by Deputy McCormack
That ends the session on questions. I am not sure if we have a Minister for the Topical Issues yet. We will suspend until 11 p.m.
I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 39 and the name of the Member in each case: Deputy Barry Ward - To discuss allowing for the inclusion of parental details on children's passports in cases where they do not share the same surname to allow for easier international travel. Deputy Michael Cahill - To discuss discrepancies in inheritance tax and capital gains tax. Deputy Albert Dolan - To discuss introducing financial literacy to the schoo…
No, the Deputy cannot come back. I apologise.
