I thank the Taoiseach for his response. I think everybody was pleased to hear of his remarks on the improved atmosphere in Northern Ireland. The restoration of power-sharing is of paramount importance but the remaining issues and sticking points on the protocol must be progressed promptly or there undoubtedly will be repercussions.
