On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 105 of 752 decisive votes (4 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

I did not welcome them. I was a Minister of State at the time.
I was speaking in the context of the circumstances we were in.
Because of your Government and Cabinet.
Because of your decisions at Cabinet for a decade.
Revisionism.
I do not have enough time to engage on this topic. I remind the Taoiseach that the reason the then Minister, former Deputy Michael Noonan, brought in real estate investment trusts, REITs, in 2011 or 2011 was because the Taoiseach and his colleagues damn well destroyed this country with their housing policies. They were in bed with developers. The Taoiseach should not come in here and start throwing out commentary like that without reflecting on the fact that he did not have the guts to stand up to his own party. It…
The truth can hurt for the Taoiseach.
What I said was also factual.
History does not show it.
Agreed.
I have a specific housing issue to raise with the Taoiseach. The High Court yesterday quashed a decision of An Bord Pleanála yet again. The board had granted permission for 123 apartments at a site on the Old Fort Road in Ballincollig. That is a place I know well and I am sure the Taoiseach also knows it well. This is not an isolated judgment. Month after month, the courts are striking down decisions of An Bord Pleanála, particularly planning decisions taken under strategic housing provisions of the 2016 Act brough…
There is a fundamental issue here. The 2019 report by An Bord Pleanála outlined that eight cases were lost and that in seven cases, it owned up. The figures stand for themselves. We have a fundamental issue here and three things are happening. An Bord Pleanála does not have enough resources, which I believe to be true. That is what the report stated and what the board has been saying in recent weeks with regard to the NDP. Second, the legislation from 2016, which was brought in by the then Minister with responsibil…
There are going to be a lot more applications before it does.
Every week, I raise the issue of partners and husbands of pregnant women in maternity services, and I will continue to do so until it is resolved. Husbands and partners can go to Penneys this week, or buy clothes for their children through click and collect services. They can buy equipment and get their hair cut but they cannot attend maternity services. The Taoiseach, the Chief Medical Officer and the chief executive of the HSE have said that is wrong. The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tony Holohan, said yesterday th…
Then why is it not happening?
Who is in charge?
Yesterday, my neighbour, Gary Toohey, tweeted a picture of himself outside the maternity hospital in Limerick, stating "Hours away from having our first child and there I am waving up at herself from outside the hospital on the street, where do you begin". His partner is Joyce and they are neighbours of mine. This is barbaric. The Taoiseach indicated to me last week this issue would be sorted. We were very much disappointed when it was not. Last week, I tabled a parliamentary question asking the HSE what maternity …
It is not happening.
It has happened again
This is the third time I have come to the House and there is no copy of the Minister's speech.
