Why was it created then?
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 105 of 752 decisive votes (4 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Why was it created then?
I am.
These are diversion tactics. Answer the questions.
He is the Taoiseach of Ireland and the people deserve to know these answers.
When will it meet?
Why is it that-----
I want to ask the Taoiseach about community employment scheme supervisors, who do such fantastic work, and their pensions. In 2015 I and the then Minister, Deputy Brendan Howlin, left a piece of work that had to be concluded in order to provide payments and pensions to supervisors and assistants. That work was not progressed by the last Government. I note there was some support for our proposals from Fianna Fáil, which was in opposition at the time. In recent weeks, I heard that the Ministers, Deputies Michael McGr…
The stability programme update was published last week. It contained scary figures on employment for this year and next year. Unemployment is projected at over 16% this year, falling to over 8% in 2022. Young people have been especially hard-hit by this pandemic. They have been hard-hit in their education and work prospects as well as rents and the prices of homes and into the near future I predict evictions. Young people are over-represented in insecure and low-paid employment, despite a high level of education, s…
We will have 45 minutes on one subject so.
We only need to stick to the time limits.
Are copies of the Minister's speech available?
They were not there before I came in here. There is no point in them being put outside after the Minister has started.
Last week, I asked the Minister how many vaccines would arrive in the last week in March and the first week of April. The Minister stated: I am more than happy to get the Deputy a note on that. What I can tell him is that by the end of March, which is in the next five days, we expect to have received in excess of 1.1 million doses. I never received any note. What is the point in the Minister even coming to the Dáil? I wrote to the Minister that evening and reminded him to supply me with the note. I wrote to him aga…
The Minister said that he-----
I asked him-----
At the NPHET briefing yesterday, we learned that modelling showed that if there was a moderate increase in close contacts from 5 April to 30 September, we would have 578,000 cases or 9,500 cases per day. This is a mathematical equation and I understand that NPHET is simply doing its job. However, the Tánaiste is saying that 3.8 million people will have some form of vaccination by the end of June and that everyone will be vaccinated by September. Did the predictions modelled yesterday include anything about the fact…
The modelling is out to September not May. How could NPHET not have factored that in? Many more people will be vaccinated by then.
How will there be more than 15,000 cases a day?
The Labour Party wishes the Government well in the strategy the Taoiseach announced yesterday. The country needs it to deliver and we will play a constructive role in whatever way we can. We will also criticise where necessary. I hope and pray that the Government delivers with regard to the changes it made regarding the vaccine prioritisation. If not, gardaí, special needs assistants, teachers, carers, retail workers, etc. will feel very let down. Everything that has been done and announced yesterday is based on un…
Having said that, in all seriousness, I want to ask the Taoiseach about the word "offered". By the end of June, will 80% of the population have received a dose of vaccine? Will they, at least, be in a position where they would have received it? It is a key question. I was thrilled and delighted to hear the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Deputy Darragh O'Brien, say earlier on "Today with Claire Byrne" that in April a portal will be offered to everybody to apply for their vaccine. That means all…
