The Tánaiste is representing the Government now.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 105 of 752 decisive votes (4 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

The Tánaiste is representing the Government now.
I welcome from the Tánaiste's live-streamed parliamentary party meeting yesterday the fact he is taking on board what I brought up ten months ago regarding compensating front-line workers. I am glad he has agreed with that. I want to raise a specific issue with the Tánaiste regarding mass vaccination clinics and who will do the work. Nurse on Call has put out the pay rates it has been offered to hire people in to do vaccinations in these clinics. Frankly speaking, looking at the rates, the take-home pay for many wo…
Six months ago I raised the issue of antigen testing in a constructive way. I have one such test to hand. I will take it when I go home to protect my family, particularly my parents who are elderly and live close to me. It costs €5 and as I said I raised this six months ago. The European Commission has approved their use and they are being used increasingly internationally. The HSE even uses the results of these tests in its counters for those who are infected. Liverpool City Council has tested 500,000 people and h…
We know the number of people vaccinated as of today. The Minister has given us those figures. As of today, though, how many vaccines have we got from each of the three suppliers, respectively? Can the Minister give me the figures as of today for AstraZeneca, Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna, respectively?
I thank the Minister. If he could do that, it would be helpful so that we can deduce one from the other. The Minister can appreciate where I am going with this. On the AstraZeneca vaccine, I understand that the Government was very much taken aback, as we were, by the recommendation that came in regard to that vaccine. If there are situations where speed will trump perfection in getting the vaccine out to those who are very isolated, will consideration be given to using the AstraZeneca vaccine for those people? I am…
My second question concerned changes in the data regarding the AstraZeneca vaccine. If the data changes will the Minister bring forward the timelines? The Minister has said mid-May but could that potentially come forward if the data change on the use of that vaccine for people over the age of 70?
Hopefully those data will come in. That would help with the whole roll-out. I have further questions and I will put them to the Minister together because of time limitations. While I do not want to stick the Minister to anything, I want to be realistic. I presume the timeline for everybody resident in Ireland to be vaccinated by September is a date that is out the window. Will the Minister confirm this either way? Have the people who live in assisted living facilities, such as in Sue Ryder accommodation, been vacci…
I move: "That Dáil Éireann: notes that: — in March 2020, the Government published ‘Ireland’s National Action Plan in Response to Covid-19 (Coronavirus)’, and outlined proposed public health decisions and actions with the stated purpose of containing, delaying and mitigating the spread of the virus; — by 4th February, 2021, 3,586 people had died with Covid-19 in the State, with another 1,899 having died in Northern Ireland; — case numbers are over 200,000 in the State and 105,000 in Northern Ireland, more than 4 per…
I raise with the Taoiseach this week, as I did with the Tánaiste last week, the issue of the women and families who are suffering as a result of the CervicalCheck scandal. We all know of the case of Lynsey Bennett last week. I am sure everyone in the House wishes her the best in her travels for immunotherapy. I am genuinely asking these questions, as someone who has been involved in this issue for some years. Have we learned anything? Are we doing everything we possibly can for these families who were let down by t…

It is zero - no cases.
I do not have time to go into it but what the Taoiseach is saying in respect of the Chief Justice and his recommendation should be dealt with. I would have a different view on what he is saying about the Ruth Morrissey judgment. I welcome what the Taoiseach said in respect of pembro and people keeping the medical cards, particularly as they are about to be taken from them. I want to raise one other issue. The national screening service issued a new edict yesterday regarding changes to the pathway for women who have…
