On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 782 of 793 decisive votes (2 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Notwithstanding all the debate that has surrounded this issue in recent weeks and over the past couple of years, a new initiative is required which would give an indication to the general public that help is on the way. I note that last year was the best delivery for a long time. The Government needs to make the case also that local authorities do not build houses and have not done for 30 or 40 years. They are contracted out to builders who are professionals in that game and who can provide the houses very effectiv…
To what extent was time given to the isolation of the issues that cause the greatest concern in the course of the past year, especially to areas such as logjams, lack of capacity, lack of GPs, lack of access to emergency departments and so on? Was enough time given to ensuring they will not recur in the future and that a renewed effort will be made to introduce the elements of Sláintecare that are most likely to impact positively on those issues?
I thank the Taoiseach for his reply. I ask the extent to which consideration was given to ensuring refugees were accommodated in as short a time as possible and that we do not have a situation whereby refugees have to sleep in the open or in the unsafe, insecure, unfortunate and difficult conditions that have been outlined in recent days and whether it is likely to be possible to make sufficient provision in the shorter space of time and, at the same time, filter the number of incoming refugees to measure them agai…
It is a very important subject and I am trying to accommodate as many people as possible within the time. We will start the sequence again. Deputy Ward can go first this time.
It is a very important subject and the Minister correctly gave a bit of latitude to it.
I was right the first time and wrong the second time. We are on Question No. 8 in the name of Deputy Barry Cowen.
You have informed the Ceann Comhairle that you are taking the question on his behalf.
Excellent. We will not argue about it.
I am happy to have an opportunity to comment on this important issue, which affects everybody. The standard of safety and services in our hospital facilities is all-important from the point of view of the public and particularly from the point of view of staff in situations where they may be threatened, attacked, assaulted or whatever the case may be. That is completely intolerable. It is a disgraceful situation when people are doing their work, as they do all of the time, and find they do so with the threat of vio…
I will go on if the Cathaoirleach Gníomhach encourages me.
In any event, that sums up what I had to say.
I did not say that.
On a point of order, I did not say that.
Deputy Connolly knows that and so should the Cathaoirleach Gníomhach.
I was not interrupted but I did not accuse anybody; I made a general reference.
No. I am not putting up with that kind of nonsense. I did not say that.
Fine.
The allegation was against me.
When am I going to do it?
