-----and very responsible.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 782 of 793 decisive votes (2 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Hold on a second. Will Members resume their seats?
He can make his contribution without interruption. He and everybody else can make their contributions but they just cannot wander around the whole country in the making of them.
In passing you can do it. I am surprised at the Deputy. You are normally a responsible guy.
Please proceed on the Bill.
In passing.
I am happy to be in a position to debate the merits or demerits of the timing of this legislation openly with anybody in the House. It is very important legislation that needed to have been brought forward long before this. For that reason, we should attribute to it the importance it deserves. I will deal with the issues one after the other. I remember the Stardust fire well. I remember meeting the relatives and friends. The time it has taken for them to get to the position we are now in has resulted in people pass…
The amendments are from the Seanad, apart from one, which is in a different category. Amendments Nos. 1, 12 and 26 are related and will be discussed together. Seanad amendment No. 1: TITLE: In page 7, line 8, to delete “ Clár Tionscal Tógála na hÉireann ” and substitute “Clár Tionscail Foirgníochta na hÉireann ”.
We are not getting into a long debate about the rights or wrongs of the amendments. We have to stick to the subject matter and we are already wandering outside it, exactly as the Deputy indicated. Perhaps an tAire Stáit would like to shed some light on the issue. There is a time factor and we have to move on.
I know but we can take up the time arguing about what should be part of it. That time is over.
It is over. Does the Minister of State want to pour some oil on the troubled waters?
I know he does but does the Minister of State wish to make any comment?
If the Deputy wants to give a lecture to the Chair, I will move on. Let us move on from there. Does the Deputy not want to speak at all?
Seanad amendments Nos. 2 and 46 are related and will be discussed together.
One is either for or against. We are dealing with amendments. I do not want to wrangle about the merits or demerits of what should have been done before. We are at a certain level and we must deal with it.
I asked the Minister of State.
Seanad amendments Nos. 3, 7, 48, amendment No. 1 to Seanad amendment No. 48 and Seanad amendment No. 49 are related and will be discussed together.
Does Deputy Boyd Barrett wish to speak?
Deputy Boyd Barrett may go ahead.
It is not a question-----
