A division has been called. In accordance with Standing Order 80(2), the division is postponed until the weekly division time on Wednesday, 23 March 2022.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 782 of 793 decisive votes (2 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

The Select Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence has completed its consideration of the following Revised Estimates for Public Services for the service of the year ending on 31 December 2022: Vote 27, International Co-operation, and Vote 28, Foreign Affairs.
I am glad to have an opportunity to say a few words on these important statements on International Women's Day. I wish all women, men, children and those who are suffering in Ukraine at present well. I do not think "Happy women's day" is the proper expression, but I wish them well in difficult circumstances. We have come a long way. I have listened carefully to the debate so far. Despite what people say, we have come a long way from where we were. We needed to as well, because we were a long way down the list. We c…
Amendments Nos. 1 and 2 are related and will be discussed together.
A message will be sent to Seanad Éireann acquainting it that Dáil Éireann has agreed to the amendments.
Amendments Nos. 1 to 13, inclusive, have been ruled out of order.
As there are no amendments on Report Stage, we will proceed to the Fifth Stage.
The order in front of me is that I have to proceed.
I must now deal with a postponed division on amendment No. 1 to the Second Stage motion on the Social Welfare (Payment Order) (Amendment) Bill 2021, taken on Thursday, 24 February 2022. On the question, "That the amendment to the motion be made", a division was claimed and in accordance with Standing Order 80(2) that division must be taken now.
I support the points made by my colleague, Deputy Richmond, on the question of EU membership for the country now under attack by the Russians. Will Ireland use its position at UN Security Council level to bring to boot as soon as possible any perpetrators who threaten their neighbours with a nuclear war and to make sure their case is heard before the European court?
What about our efforts at the UN?
As a student of European history, I am strongly supportive of the Government's response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. I ask that everything be done to assist in every way we can. On a related matter, I ask the Tánaiste about an issue he has been reported as having commented on in the past, namely, that the Government should adopt an inflation strategy. This should cover how to deal with house price inflation, fuel price inflation and all the issues likely to arise from the Russian aggression and the invasion …
I allowed a certain amount of latitude because of the seriousness of the situation.
The Select Committee on Health has completed its consideration of the following Revised Estimates for the public services for the service of the year ending 31 December 2022: Vote 38.
I apologise for being late. My question is to ask the extent to which the Taoiseach can develop the shared island concept at the same time as the partial collapse of the Assembly. Will he use the time to good advantage to establish trust, dialogue and a meaningful relationship with all who wish to have such a relationship in a shared island context?
The list of speakers is completed. We move to the Minister of State, who has five minutes.
It is noted.
I am grateful to have this opportunity. I had two meetings going on at the same time, which is pretty difficult at the best of times. I fully endorse, support and accept the recommendations of the review. The Ceann Comhairle and I represent a county that has long-established traditions with the Defence Forces. I cannot understand why, over the past number of years we have become apologetic about our Defence Forces, as if they were unnecessary. There are people in this House who will tell us they are unnecessary and…
At the risk of repetition, but for a valid reason, I raise the need for urgent review of the health services. I ask the Taoiseach, as a former Minister for Health who knows the subject well, that there be an emergency reappraisal of the health services with a view to delivering and bringing up-to-date waiting lists for all disciplines in the shortest time possible.
The IMF was in government for a long time.
