The Deputy is out of order.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 782 of 793 decisive votes (2 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

The Deputy is out of order.
Deputy, if you do not allow the Minister of State to answer, I will move on and there will be no answer.
I seek to raise an issue with an Taoiseach that is becoming increasingly frequent and irritating, namely, the application of the general data protection regulation, GDPR, by a number of utility services and public bodies. When a question is raised by Members of the Oireachtas, all of whom are directly elected by the people and have a mandate from the people, they are challenged as to whether they have permission from the subject in respect of whom the question has been raised to raise the question. If one is object…
I know. I will not do it again.
I will be better the next time. We were asked if we had permission. From whom could we get permission about a burst sewerage pipe, for God's sake?
It is good to have an opportunity to speak on this particular conference. A number of things come to mind that we need to comment on at this particular time. Needless to say, I do not go the way of the previous speaker. I would recommend Leon Uris's book on the subject, which entails a fairly broad description of the founding of Israel and what it is today. I do not agree with many of the things Israel has done - I totally disagree with them - but we need to be very careful not to pander on the side of suggesting t…
I am sorry, Minister. One speaker at a time.
I sometimes err in that direction. I call on the Minister to reply.
Along with my colleagues, I want to congratulate the Taoiseach on the initiatives taken. Having regard to his discussions with the various leaders, community groups and academics in Northern Ireland, is it accepted that the potential for the concept is greater than was first anticipated? Can the Taoiseach see a situation where this particular initiative can take the place of encouraging others to come together in common cause for the economic and social benefit of this island, North and South?
I thank the Taoiseach. That concludes Taoiseach's Questions. Deputy Tóibín raised a question with me on which I want clarification before moving to the next business.
I am informed that the appropriate time to raise the issue is tomorrow morning's Order of Business unless the Deputy has already acquainted the Taoiseach of the nature of his-----
I do not propose to allow discussion of this------
I am sorry. I cannot allow the discussion-----
-----unless the Deputy has acquainted the Taoiseach beforehand.
No. I am sorry, Deputy.
Deputy, you are a very clever and astute politician, but not that astute. You can only proceed if you have previously acquainted the Taoiseach as to the nature of what you are about to raise.
It is not sufficient to stand up in the House to do it. I am sorry.
We will follow the orders.
I am absolutely certain of the way to proceed. I have just ruled on it. Please resume your seat, Deputy. You can raise the matter tomorrow morning.
I am sorry. It will not take any minutes.
