Amendment No. 1 has been ruled out of order, which has been communicated to Deputy Pringle.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 1,060 of 1,070 decisive votes (2 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Amendment No. 2 has been deemed out of order.
Yesterday we heard about the revised terms of defective block redress for counties Donegal and Mayo, largely very positive, with a huge amount of work gone into them. The grant cap has increased from €247,00 to €420,000, which is far more realistic. The focus now should turn to counties such as Clare, where we also have a very bad problem with defective blocks. The process is moving along very well. An application was submitted by the council in July of this year. My problem is that officials in the Department of H…
I want to raise the situation in the early childhood years sector. We have seen good interventions by the Government over the past week in addressing substitute teacher shortages in primary schools and, yesterday, in secondary schools. Some of those measures are very positive and will lead to a huge influx of people back into classrooms, stabilising the whole system at a time when we really want to keep schools open. It very much concerns me, however, that the incidence of Covid in crèches and childcare settings ha…
Tracing should be brought back in now to alleviate the pressure so many primary school teachers, principals and parents are facing at this time.
The printer in the office decided to pack it in and the battery in my laptop is on the brink, so I might be ad libbing in a moment. We will see how it goes. The legislation before us today allows for the continued independent functioning of the Marine Casualty Investigation Board but it is important to refer to the progression of the legislation to date, specifically the work that I and other colleagues, including Deputy O'Rourke, have been undertaking at the Oireachtas Committee on Transport and Communications. Th…
I thank the Minister and the Minister of State for their presence here today and for all the work they are doing in leading the Department. More importantly, I pay tribute to all of the front-line health workers. This morning I met the Acting Chairman on the 9.50 a.m. train from Limerick to Dublin. I joined the Cork train at Limerick Junction and I was appalled to see so many people not wearing masks. We have made sacrifices over the last two years. There are people who did not get home to meet their families, such…
I do not have a face that suits it. However, Movember is important. It is important to say on the record that for those who are not tuned into the Movember debate, it is about men's health, mental health, physical health and men’s cancer. It is important in the month of November that we reflect on that.
That is perfect. Is that agreed? Agreed.
I call Deputy MacSharry. Dhá nóiméad.
Thank you, Deputy.
The Deputy is over time.
You had two minutes.
Yes. I apologise but that is the way it is set out. There will be other chances.
I call the Minister to conclude.
A message will now be sent to the Seanad acquainting it accordingly.
Amendments Nos. 1 to 3, inclusive, are being discussed together.
On Committee Stage, there is a degree of latitude.
It is not coming to an end tonight.
Apologies, in the order I have Deputy Tóibín is ahead of Deputy Howlin.
