I thank Members for their co-operation.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 22 of 449 decisive votes (2 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

I refer to No. 49 on the Order Paper, the Broadcasting (Amendment) (Protection of Journalism) Bill 2019. Second Stage of the Bill, sponsored by Deputy Cullinane, was taken in the Dáil on Thursday, 7 October 2021. An amendment was tabled by the Government to defer the Second Reading of the Bill and that amendment was agreed to without a division being claimed. However, the question, "That the motion, as amended, be agreed to" was not put forward. Accordingly, I am now putting that question to the House.
Is the Bill opposed?
Since this is a Private Members' Bill, Second Stage must, under Standing Orders, be taken in Private Members' time.

Is the Minister taking this question with No. 107?
Deputy Cullinane wants to come in briefly.
There are two sticklers for time here. We will move on to the next question.
Before the Minister of State comes back in, I call Deputy Ó Murchú.
We have run out of time.
Literally one second, as we are out of time.
Are you reasonable with your time as well?
The Deputy will have a chance to contribute again.
The Minister will get a chance to contribute again.
We are running out of time. There is time for just one more question. I call Deputy Sherlock, although he will not get the full time.
The Tánaiste has the floor.
