Ten minutes.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 22 of 449 decisive votes (2 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Ten minutes.
The Deputy's ten minutes are up.
No. I do not mean to interrupt, but the Deputy had a ten-minute slot. That is what was agreed. I am sorry about that.
The next slot is Sinn Féin's. Is Deputy Gould or Deputy Doherty offering? No. I will move on to Deputy Lawless. He has ten minutes. I do not wish to interrupt Members, but we will proceed in this way. At 3.53 p.m., I will stop the Second Stage debate and we will move on to Committee Stage.
I call on Sinn Féin, Deputies Doherty and Gould.
In case there is any misunderstanding, there are 30 minutes for this debate from start to finish. The guillotine will be coming down after 30 minutes.
There are a number of speakers indicating. I will leave it to Deputies to be generous to their colleagues. I call Deputy Rose Conway-Walsh.
As the time permitted for the debate has expired I am required to put the following question in accordance with an order of the Dáil of 21 July 2020: "That section 3 is hereby agreed to in Committee; the Title is hereby agreed to in Committee; the Bill is accordingly reported to the House without amendment; Fourth Stage is hereby completed; and the Bill is hereby passed.”
Tá sé deacair seasamh anseo agus mé féin a chur os comhair an Tí mar iarrthóir sa toghchán seo. Tá sé deacair mé féin a mholadh. I ndáiríre, ní hé sin atá i gceist agam mar tá ról an Leas-Cheann Comhairle ró-thábhachtach do mholadh. Táim ag seasamh anseo mar bhean láidir, le taithí agus le cáilíochtaí cuí, agus mar dhuine a bhí ag feidhmiú mar chathaoirleach ar feadh tréimhse ó 2016. Le linn na tréimhse sin, tá súil agam gur shaothraigh mé bhur meas mar chathaoirleach a bhí cóir agus cothrom. Táim ag seasamh anseo …
Baineann mo cheist le Gaillimh 2020. Tá soiléiriú á lorg agam ó thaobh an chaiteachais go dtí an lá inniu agus an caiteachas ata beartaithe ag an Roinn. My question is about Galway 2020 and I want an update on how much money the Department has given to date, how it has been spent, how much money is promised for the future, what conditions, if any, are attached to that future money, in particular, the re-employment of an Irish language officer, and an update on the performance delivery agreement. Go raibh maith agat…
I thank the Minister for answering comprehensively on the general running of Gaillimh 2020, but I am not sure how much money has actually been spent from the Department's allocation. Galway 2020 has certainly suffered from Covid-19 and bad weather, but prior to that there were serious issues with regard to governance and non-inclusivity. We spoke about this on the Committee of Public Accounts, and there was a lesson to be learned from the previous debacle with regard to the Pálás Cinema. I understood that a monitor…
I very much appreciate that and, indeed, theoretically, that it was declared the cultural capital of Europe was the best news story for Galway. There is no point going back on the history of it, but certainly serious mistakes were made. At this point, I find it difficult that in a bilingual city on the edge of the biggest Gaeltacht in the country we have let go of the Irish language officer. I would have though that would have been pivotal. We had to fight a battle for the appointment of that officer. Perhaps 1 Apr…
Gabhaim buíochas leis an Teachta Howlin. Moving on to the Social Democrats, I call an Teachta Cian O’Callaghan.
To clarify, the Taoiseach had to leave. The Minister of State, Deputy Thomas Byrne, is at the back of the Chamber.
Is the Deputy sharing time?
Is it with the Deputy's two colleagues?
I call Deputy Michael Collins.
Gabh mo leithscéal. I meant an Teachta O'Donoghue.
I am sorry, but the Deputy is further down on the second round on the list.
I am just going by the list. Deputies Michael Healy-Rae and Michael Collins are further down on the second round.
