Amendments Nos. 17, 18 and 20 are related and will be discussed together.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 22 of 449 decisive votes (2 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Does the Minister of State want to come in?
Amendments Nos. 21 to 24, inclusive, are related and may be discussed together.
The Minister of State has finished his contribution but by way of exception I can let him comment on what the Deputies have said. Does the Minister of State wish to make a brief comment?
Does Deputy Gould wish to come back in as the proposer?
Amendments Nos. 27, 29, 30 and 34 are related and will be discussed together.
Deputy Doherty can come in again before the Minister of State responds.
I understand the Chief Whip has a proposal to make.
Is that agreed? Agreed. Go raibh maith agaibh, tá sé sin aontaithe.
Deputy McNamara----
The Order of Business has been agreed, Deputy.
The Order of Business has been agreed.
We now proceed to statements of acknowledgement and apology to the families and to the victims of the Stardust tragedy. Before calling on the Taoiseach, on behalf of all of us, I acknowledge the presence here today of the families of the 48 victims of the Stardust fire. They are seated in the Public Gallery and the Distinguished Visitors Gallery. Today's proceedings mark, put at its mildest, an important milestone in their campaign on behalf of their loved ones. I just want to say céad míle fáilte romhaibh go léir.
I think I am the final contributor. The Taoiseach gave a fulsome address and apology, which is to be welcomed. However, this apology will only be meaningful if it determines the next steps and if it examines how we got into this position. The Taoiseach has talked about how the institutions of the State let the people down. They did a lot more than that; they actively contrived to prevent the truth coming out. They actively contrived against the families who are here today in their quest to get the truth. The State …
My question is very specific and relates to the estimated cost of the revised Coirib go Cósta flood relief scheme. Will the Minister of State make a statement on the matter?
I missed what the Minister of State said about the total cost.
Was it €15 million or €50 million?
The figure has increased, therefore, from €9.5 million to €50 million. Those 940 properties include the area in which I live, Claddagh, but also a lot of other areas such as the Long Walk, Spanish Arch and the Eglington Canal. As long as I have been asking this question for the past two or three years, those projects have all been included. The Minister of State's predecessor, Deputy O'Donovan, who was very au fait with this, as I am sure the Minister of State will soon be as well, expressed frustration at the lack…
The process started in 2012. When I left the council in 2016, it was finishing the process of identifying the flood risks. We are now in 2024 and all the stages have gone by the board. Instead of construction starting in 2026, a planning application is now going to be submitted in 2027. I do not think the Minister of State could be happy with that, given Galway city is flooded practically every year, without exaggeration. My office is in that area, so I have a particular interest, even though it is only an office, …
Staying with the same theme, I happen to have two questions. It is good that I can explore the issue a little with the Minister. We have a steering group and I am asking the Minister the status of the review by the steering group, where is it at, when will it be published and when will we see the revised project programme. Let the Minister not say that it will be done shortly..
