I thank the Tánaiste.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 22 of 449 decisive votes (2 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

I thank the Tánaiste.
We are out of time. We are four minutes over.
I have given as much flexibility as I can. I am really sorry.
Go raibh maith agat. That concludes questions to the Tánaiste and Minister for Defence.
Táimid ag bogadh ar aghaidh go dtí an dara ceist, atá in ainm an Teachta Matt Carthy, who seeks to discuss services for children with disabilities in Cavan and Monaghan.
Please allow the Minister of State to conclude.
When Deputy McAuliffe is finished speaking the Minister will conclude the debate. I am giving the House that warning.
I am returning to Gaza on which the Ceann Comhairle and Minister have expressed their horror. The Minister has said it is horrible to watch. However, we can do something; that is why the International Court of Justice is there. We can join South Africa and stop playing politics and waiting for the big boys to make the decision. I am going to take all the speakers first, so if the Deputy wants to finish, he may do so.

Amendment No. 5 has been ruled out of order.
Before the commencement of Committee Stage I would like to deal with a procedural matter relating to Bills to amend the Constitution. The substance of the debate on Committee Stage relates to the wording of the proposed constitutional amendment which is contained in the Schedule to the Bill. The sections of the Bill are merely technical. Therefore, in accordance with long-standing practice, the sections are postponed until consideration of the Schedule has been completed. In accordance with precedent and Standing O…
Amendments Nos. a 1 a , 1 a , 1 to 3, inclusive, 3 a , and 4 to 6, inclusive, are related and will be discussed together. Whoever wants to speak can indicate.
The Deputy does not need to move the amendment.
Only one amendment can be moved at a time. The amendment before us is from Deputy Bríd Smith.
We are discussing a series of amendments.
I am just giving the Deputy the framework.
I welcome the opportunity to speak on this Bill. I did not speak on the earlier constitutional Bill. I spoke on it on Second Stage. I indicated that I was fully behind that. I will be voting for that amendment. I have serious concerns about this one. I will start with FLAC's concerns, which have not been dealt with. I know we are speaking to a combination of amendments here, all of which seek to make the amendment to the Constitution stronger and to put an obligation on the Government to give meaning to its words. …
If you are going to quote me, that is not what I said.
