On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 236 of 237 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

I chaired the Second Stage debate on the Bill last Thursday, which we got through reasonably quickly. I had a fair idea that there was no opposition here on Thursday on Second Stage. This Bill has unanimity and zero opposition. This does not happen too often. I commend the Minister and his officials on the work they have done on this to ensure there was literally no opposition to the Bill. It is clearly popular legislation on all sides of the House. I congratulate the Minister and his staff and commend the Bill on …
I said exactly the same to her outside.
The Leas-Chathaoirleach will always have a place for her to stay, no doubt.
And you are the result of it all.
I thank the Leas-Chathaoirleach and the Minister. I also thank Senator Craughwell for being so brief. I will try to be as brief; I am not sure if I will be that brief. We should have renamed this "Tributes to Heather Humphreys Day". Why not? Maybe we should do that tomorrow or the next day. I congratulate her, as I did in the anteroom on the way in. Their margins are getting tighter and tighter and it is not just that the minimum wage goes up, everybody else's wages have to go up because the minimum wage has gone up, so there ends up being a larger wage bill and increasing the levels of PRSI contributions based on a larger wage bill …

Now.
I welcome the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Deputy Charlie McConalogue, to the House.
I thank the Minister for his comprehensive opening statement. Group spokespersons have ten minutes but if they do not need the full ten minutes I am sure that will be fine with everyone.
When is it proposed to take Committee Stage?
Is that agreed? Agreed.
Can Senator Mullen say which particular amendments he is discussing?
