Section 67 has been agreed. Does Senator McDowell wish to speak to section 68?
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 236 of 237 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Section 67 has been agreed. Does Senator McDowell wish to speak to section 68?
It has. Both of them.
You cannot really because the amendment is out of order. The Senator can speak to the section if he wants.
The Senator is generally well able to negotiate the Chair's rulings.
Is that Senator Ward's phraseology?
I thank the Senator and the Minister of State. I will put the question.
The Senator may speak after the vótáil.
I do not think so. The Senator may speak after the vote.
I welcome the Minister, Deputy O'Gorman, back to the House once more to deal with the Report and Final Stages of the Work Life Balance and Miscellaneous Provisions Bill 2022. Before we commence I remind Senators that they may only speak once on Report Stage. If they propose an amendment, they may reply to a discussion on the amendment. Each non-Government amendment must be seconded. Amendments No. 1 to 3, inclusive, in the names of Senator's Higgins, Ruane, Black and Flynn cannot be moved as the Senators are not pr…
Amendment No. 4 is in the names of Senators, Warfield, Ó Donnghaile, Boylan and Gavan and arises from Committee proceedings. Amendments Nos. 4, 6, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 are related and may be discussed together by agreement. Is that agreed? Agreed.
Before I call other Senators, I welcome Mr. Ralph D. Day and Mr. John Shannon from the United States of America to Leinster House. They are guests of Deputy James O'Connor. They are both welcome to Leinster House. I hope they enjoy their evening.
We might acknowledge the departure of our visiting guests and acknowledge they are all very welcome.
The Minister, without interruption.
I thank Senator Ahearn. I thank the Cathaoirleach for his welcome of the delegation of the Moldovan Parliament, including the Speaker, and it is the first time we have had the Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament in Ireland. It is a delegation of five parliamentarians from Moldova. As the convener of the Ireland-Romania parliamentary friendship group, and the convener of the Ireland-Moldova parliamentary friendship group, I want to welcome them here.
I do, actually, but that is a separate point. They are very close to each other. It is very important that we acknowledge their trip here and that they have taken the time to come to visit us, to see what is going on here and to share their experiences. What Moldova is doing in terms of the Ukrainian conflict is enormous. It has a population of less than 3 million but it has taken more refugees and more people seeking protection than we have. We know how difficult it is to house the number we have, given the challe…
Now.
Now.
I thank the Leas-Chathaoirleach for the speediness with which he led us through the 86 sections in the Bill. I congratulate the Minister of State for getting the Bill through as speedily as he did, particularly in this House. I understand it proceeded relatively speedily through the other House and we certainly have dealt with it very speedily last week and this week. It is 11 or 12 years since the legislation was supposed to have been introduced. We certainly are not responsible for delaying it now. I congratulate…
Amendments Nos. 23 and 24 are related and may be discussed together by agreement.
When is it proposed to take Report Stage?
