When is it proposed to sit again?
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 236 of 237 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

When is it proposed to sit again?
I thank the Minister of State for his very comprehensive opening statement. Each Member has six minutes, which we can regard as a maximum rather than a target, necessarily. I call Senator Crowe.
I wish to draw the attention of the public, Chamber and Leader to the fact that Ulster Bank today announced it is going to start freezing accounts. As the Leas-Chathaoirleach will appreciate, Ulster Bank has been a very large and important financial institution in the history of this State, really since the foundation of the State. It is a major thing for a large bank like Ulster Bank to leave. It has been doing so in an organised, measured and slow way but the day is coming where it will freeze accounts. Indeed, o…
I thank the Minister of State for his comprehensive opening statement, in which he outlined the reasons for this important emergency legislation. It is important to realise, as he said, that the provisions of the Bill relate to two sites, Shannonbridge and Tarbert. These provisions will ensure we have enough electricity capacity not so much for this winter but for next winter. There was a time everybody’s house did not have electricity years ago, but we now depend on it for everything, such as charging our phones, …
The order of the House is that Members have five minutes each on Second Stage.
Now.
Now.
I move: That, pursuant to subsection 2° of section 2 of Article 25 of the Constitution, Seanad Éireann concurs with the Government in a request to the President to sign the Development (Emergency Electricity Generation) Bill 2022 on a date which is earlier than the fifth day after the date on which the Bill shall have been presented to him.”
I thank the Minister of State for his comprehensive opening statement in regard to the European Arrest Warrant (Amendment) Bill 2022, which, to be fair, is very much a technical Bill. As was referred to recently by Deputy Catherine Murphy in the Dáil, it is not something that most of us are ever going to have to experience or deal with. Nonetheless, some examples of where it has been used include the cases of a person involved in the Paris terrorist attacks who was caught in Belgium, an attacker of the Brussels Jew…
I welcome the Minister of State, Deputy Calleary, to the House for the first time since he assumed his role.
Amendments Nos. 2 to 5, inclusive, are related and may be discussed together.
I would sit down now if I were you.
This is a Seanad Bill which has been amended by the Dáil. In accordance with Standing Order 148, it is deemed to have passed its First, Second and Third Stages in the Seanad and is placed on the Order Paper for Report Stage. On the question "That the Bill be received for final consideration", the Minister may explain the purpose of the amendments made by the Dáil. This is looked upon as the report of the Dáil amendments to the Seanad. For the convenience of Senators, I have arranged for the printing and circulation…
The point is well made. The Minister of State has committed to reflect on that situation.
When is it proposed to take Fifth Stage?
Is that agreed? Agreed.
It was the Cathaoirleach, not I, who ruled them out of order.
Whatever section the Senator's amendments have been ruled out of order in-----
The Senator can certainly speak to the section his proposed amendments would have dealt with when we get there.
I welcome the Minister of State, Deputy Naughton, back to the House.
