Is the Senator proposing an amendment to the Order of Business?
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 634 of 639 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Senator Boyhan has proposed an amendment to the Order of Business, "That No. 2 not be taken today." How stands the amendment?
Before we move to the next item of business, I congratulate, on my behalf and that of all Members of the House, our colleague and friend, Senator Paddy Burke, who 30 years ago this week was elected to this House for the first time. Like the father of the House, Senator Norris, Senator Burke has served uninterrupted since 1993. He has not aged much. We wish him ad multos annos . It is seldom that we get the chance to catch out Senator Burke.

Before I ask the Leader to deal with the Order of Business I remind Members, at the request of Senator O'Loughlin, that she informed and notified Members by email this morning that at 12 noon today in the Chamber, during our Order of Business, she will ask all Members to stand for a minute's silence, to pause for peace, to mark St. Brigid's Day in commemoration of St. Brigid who, as we all know, was a renowned peacemaker and demonstrated great leadership in the early part of the Irish church and society. In our sta…
I congratulate Senator Boyhan on his Commencement matter yesterday on the same matter.
I remind Members who have just arrived in the Chamber that we are going to pause at noon for a minute's silence as a pause for peace. If I interject, it is not that I am trying to be rude or anything but that we have agreed we will have a pause for peace at noon. I welcome to the Gallery Roisin O'Neill and Vicente Gallardo, who are guests of Senator Mullen. They are here from Carroll College in Helena, Montana to participate in an intervarsity debating competition in Trinity College. We wish them every success in t…
I call Senator Sherlock next, and remind her that at noon we will have the pause.
The tourism board for County Kildare and Solas Bhríde spirituality centre have jointly launched a global initiative, Pause for Peace movement, today. Our colleague, Senator O'Loughlin, has asked us to join with residents of County Kildare and others around the world in standing for a minute's silence at 12 noon to commemorate St. Brigid's Day. St. Brigid was renowned as a peacemaker and showed extraordinary leadership in the early Irish church and in Irish society. By standing for peace today we are showing solidar…
The Senator is way over time. He has made a good point.
There was great latitude shown in the first week by the Cathaoirleach but it will be eroding after that.
