I would stop the Senator quick enough.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 634 of 639 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

I would stop the Senator quick enough.
I thank the Senator.
As was the case yesterday, I remind Members that nobody has been-----
Could I remind Members in general that nobody has been mentioned? I am not being windy, as accused in the newspapers today, by trying to protect all of us and the House. Like Senator Dooley, I am not one of those people either.
I remind Members we are on the Order of Business and it is on requests to have Ministers come to the House or to have a debate on issues.
I thank the Senator. We are on the Order of Business.
I ask Members to bear with me as I have a lot of housekeeping. Senator Vincent P. Martin proposed an amendment to the Order of Business: That No. 12 be taken before No. 1, seconded by Senator Carrigy. Is the amendment agreed? Agreed. Senator Timmy Dooley proposed an amendment to the Order of Business: That No. 11 be taken before No. 1, seconded by Senator Malcolm Byrne. The Leader has indicated she is prepared to accept this amendment. Is that amendment agreed? Agreed.
When is proposed to take Second Stage?
Is that agreed? Agreed.
When is it proposed to take Second Stage?
Is that agreed? Agreed.

I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters: Senator Joe O'Reilly - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to review the qualification requirements for grant-aided small rural sewerage schemes. Senator Malcolm Byrne - The need for the Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works to provide an update on the proposed construction of Coast Guard stations in Arklow, County Wicklow and Courtown Harbour, County W…
As Members will know, we are speaking today in memory of the late Mary O'Rourke, who passed away last week. Mary O'Rourke served as a Member of this House and of Dáil Éireann, and she was a former friend and colleague to many in the Houses of the Oireachtas. She had a long and distinguished career in politics and held several ministries throughout her career, including education, health, transport and public enterprise. Born in 1937 in Athlone, one of five children, she came from a family steeped in politics. Her l…
No Member of any House has been publicly identified, let alone charged with any offence in relation to any allegation. It is just a media story.
And I appreciate that.
Lest the Senator think I was being unfair to her-----
-----she was thoroughly within her right and it was legitimate for her to express her concerns about that position with regard to the newspaper story. As she knows, nobody has been identified yet. She was totally legitimate in her ability to raise the matter on the floor and I was not trying to stop her.
The clock-----
The clock did not work. I am giving-----
