On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 634 of 639 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Party over time

This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

I welcome to the Distinguished Visitors Gallery the parents of our friend and colleague, Senator Seery Kearney. Mr. and Mrs. Seery are very welcome. I see my good friend, Scarlett Seery Kearney, in the Gallery. She is very welcome to Leinster House and to the Distinguished Visitors Gallery where she should be every day. She is probably the 61st Member of the Seanad, so I welcome her back.

Sustainable Energy Communities

Before I call Senator Cummins, as I have done on all occasions when members of the Cabinet come to the House, I take the opportunity to thank the Minister, Deputy Ryan, for being here. It is good to have a member of Cabinet here taking a Commencement matter. On my own behalf and on that of the House, I thank the Minister for his service to public life and to the State. He announced his retirement this week. You can disagree with the Minister on many things, but he is a thorough professional, a gentleman and a decen…

Before I call on the Acting Leader to outline the business for today, I welcome H.E. Florence Ensch, ambassador of Luxembourg, who is in the Public Gallery. I call the Acting Leader to reply. I join with Senator Seery Kearney and others in congratulating Senator Conway today on taking the Order of Business. He is a champion of inclusion and advocacy on behalf of the visually impaired community. He has shown how people can overcome all obstacles to lead a full life. It is great to have him in the chair today.
