Thank you.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 634 of 639 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Thank you.
Senator, you are a minute over time.
Please, Senator.
Senator Higgins, you are abusing the Order of Business.
Senator Higgins, resume your seat. Please be fair to all Members. The points you make are diluted by your going over time. Please understand this.
Before I call on the next speaker, I welcome Ms Maggie Maloney and the Duhill community group from County Tipperary. They are very welcome to Leinster House. I am glad to say their county is not the home of hurling but they are very welcome. I hope they have a pleasant and enjoyable day in Leinster House. Their timing is opportune because their native county man, Senator Ahearn, is the next speaker. He is doing our guests proud in Leinster House.
I also welcome Councillor Máirín McGrath, who is also very welcome.
Before I call the vote, I welcome Professor Eugene Wall, who is here with his wife Jennifer, his son Dmitri, Hannah and Emily. He is the president of Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, better known as Mary I. He is very welcome. I thank him for all the great work he is doing.
The result is different from that appearing on Senators' screens as Senator Flynn inadvertently omitted to vote. We will rectify that.
To help the Senator, she might put down a Commencement matter that I will give consideration to.
I welcome Peter Duffy and Charlotte Grenson to the Public Gallery. Charlotte is from France and Peter is from Cork. Peter is the brother of Denise Duffy, a very good friend of ours in the parliamentary community who works with the Minister of State, Deputy Hildegarde Naughton. The good news for all of us is that Peter is a very proud Cork person and Charlotte is from France. Via Vancouver, they are moving back to Cork. A Corkman coming home is always good news. Peter and Charlotte are very welcome to Leinster House…
May I interrupt?
I welcome to the Visitors Gallery a delegation from Mongolia who are visiting Ireland, led by Nomtoibayar Nyamtaishir, the leader of the national coalition encompassing a range of different political parties, and members of staff of the embassy. They are very welcome. They are joined by our colleague and friend, Deputy Damien English. They are all very welcome and we thank them for being here this afternoon. Also in the Visitors Gallery is a friend and former colleague, Ms Catherine Heaney. All our guests are welco…
That is not a point of order. What is your point of order based on?
No, you cannot get clarification because that is not a point of order.
I thank the Minister.
When is it proposed to take Committee Stage?
Is that agreed? Agreed.
I ask the Acting Leader to move the suspension of the House until 6:30 p.m.
Amendments Nos. 29 to 39, inclusive, are related. Amendment No. 39 is a physical alternative to amendment No. 38. Amendments Nos. 29 to 39, inclusive, may be discussed together by agreement. Is that agreed? Agreed.
