Amendments Nos. 15 and 16 are related and may be discussed together.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 440 of 443 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Recommendations Nos. 17 to 21, inclusive, are related and may be discussed together. Is that agreed? Agreed.
I thank the Minister of State for that. I am sure the Senator is happy with that positive response. Well done to her on the proposal.
Recommendation No. 22 has been ruled out of order as it is not relevant to the subject matter of the Bill.
Recommendations Nos. 24 and 25 are related and may be discussed together by agreement. Is that agreed? Agreed.
The Minister of State can respond to the recommendations.
Does the Minister of State want to respond to recommendation No. 25?
I now call on Senator Kyne and I offer him my apologies for almost missing him, as I thought he was here in a supervisory capacity.
When is it proposed to take Committee Stage?
Is that agreed? Agreed.
I thank everyone for their co-operation and participation. Gabhaim buíochas le gach duine as ucht a gcomhoibriú agus as an díospóireacht den chéad scoth. The House stands adjourned until 10 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, 7 December, in accordance with the Order of the Seanad of Thursday, 1 December 2022.
I thank the Minister of State and Senator McGahon for that excellent discussion in the contemporary context.
I just might remind the Senator and the House that it is not appropriate under Standing Orders to suggest that a Minister or, indeed, anyone else is misleading the House. I just wish to remind the Senator of that. We will leave it at that.
Or the committee. Irrespective of mode.
I have two very pleasant duties. I am delighted to welcome one of our distinguished alumni, a former Senator, who is now a Deputy of much standing and great repute, Deputy O’Dowd, and his guests to the Visitors Gallery. They are very welcome and it is lovely to have them here. They happen to be geographic neighbours of mine, but Deputy O’Dowd will point that out later. It is a particular pleasure to welcome them. It is also my great pleasure, and this is very significant, to welcome Gurteen Central National School.…
I welcome all concerned. It is important to see the Houses of democracy in action first hand. They are their Houses.
While it is inappropriate for the Chair to comment, I could not agree more. I welcome two other guests. Adrian Long and Gavin Homan are the guests of the Cathaoirleach of the Seanad, Senator Mark Daly. They are very welcome to the Visitors Gallery and they will be able to see the Cathaoirleach in action later if they wait.
The pupils of the national school might decide to do a project on the Seanad. It could feature the teachers' very famous relation, Senator Craughwell, who is a distinguished Member of the House. They could do a special chapter on him.
I thank the Senator for that important intervention.
