On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 440 of 443 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

We now propose to offer the MEPs seven minutes each to address the questions or make any summary remarks.
If Mr. Cuffe can do it in less, then we will have more time.
I thank Ms Fitzgerald and invite Mr. Andrews to the floor.
I thank Mr. Andrews for that summary. I will make a few general remarks by way of conclusion. First, I thank each MEP for being in the Seanad today, for making the effort and for preparing contributions. We, above all audiences they will have, appreciate what their lifestyle is like. Even at that we do not know how difficult it is to travel all the time. We very much appreciate the fact they made the effort to be here, to prepare and to engage so fully. That is not taken for granted and should not be. It is importa…
I welcome the Minister of State to the House.
Amendments Nos. 60, 61 and 69 are related and may be discussed together, by agreement. Is that agreed? Agreed.
Before I call the next speaker, I welcome, in case they leave us, a prestigious and important delegation from Hungary, whose members are in the Gallery. I also welcome to the House a distinguished educationalist, the principal of the Model School in Bailieborough, Mr. Niall McHugo, to the House. We have very important visitors in the Gallery.
The Minister of State has said his final word.
I wish Mr. Seamus Neely, chairman of the working group, well. I worked alongside him in Cavan County Council and he is a brilliant individual. Please God, he will do a good job.
I have a personal interest in this as I have a lot of friends in the Lanesborough area.
Thank you. Will the Minister of State oblige, given that we did not circulate copies of his speech, by emailing it to the Seanad Office? Senator Carrigy would possibly like a copy too.
I welcome the students from Denmark in the Visitors Gallery. It is wonderful to have them here. They are from a very beautiful country that is a great friend of Ireland. There are great connections between Ireland and Denmark and we have similar industry and agriculture etc.
Well done Senator on an excellent exposition within the allocated time.
I thank the Minister of State and I thank Senator Conway for raising the issue.
With respect to the Senator, does that involve the separation of powers?
I welcome the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Deputy Martin, to the House. Even though she is based in Dublin, I still describe her as my neighbour from home, which she is.
Ár mbuíochas leis an Aire as ucht an ráiteas cuimsitheach sin chun tús a chur leis an díospóireacht ghinearálta. Glaoim anois ar an Seanadóir Garvey.
I welcome the Minister of State, Deputy Naughton, who is an alumnus of this House. We are resuming on amendment No. 3. Hopefully we will make some progress on this beautiful sunny morning. The Leader of the House was in possession. Does she wish to continue?
My understanding is that the legal advice is from the Attorney General and that all is in order to continue.
