Deputy Healy, please allow the Minister to conclude.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 425 of 432 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Deputy Healy, please allow the Minister to conclude.
I understand that, but the Minister has the floor. I ask the Minister to respond.
I call Deputy Roche.
Sorry, Deputy.
Is the Bill opposed?
Since this is a Private Members' Bill, Second Stage must, under Standing Orders, be taken in Private Members' time.
What part of the Bill is that?
I welcome the legislation and assure the Minister that anything that strengthens the hand of the Garda force should be supported by this House and will be supported by me. As we pass this new legislation, or bring it through the House, we have to look at the impact of it on the day to day workings of an individual Garda member. We can identify the crimes and we can identify where we want to see improvements in the force but we have to continually remind ourselves that every time we ask a garda or gardaí to do somet…
Please, Deputy Ó Laoghaire.
The Minister should continue.
We must move on to the next question.
I thank the Minister.
Deputy Callaghan is taking Question No. 122 on behalf of Deputy Barry Ward.
Thank you, Minister.
I call Deputy Callaghan.
I ask the Minister to keep an eye on the time.
I am trying to get in as many questions as I can. I do not want to be setting a bad example by allowing people to go over their time slots. That is why I had to ring the bell. I thought the Minister was completely ignoring me.
Question No. 123 is in the name of Deputy Ó Snodaigh. I understand Deputy Ó Laoghaire is taking it.
A welcome apology.
If the Minister of State, Deputy Byrne, does not mind - would Members please allow the Minister of State to finish and stop cutting in on him so that we can do our business properly? I am going to conclude.
