On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 66 of 66 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

I welcome the Minister of State. The debate will proceed in the normal manner, with the Minister of State having 15 minutes, group spokespersons 12 minutes and all other Senators six minutes. I call an Aire Stáit.
I call Senator Keogan.
I am sure the Senator will join with me in welcoming the primary school from Drumlish in County Longford. They are most welcome. I thank them for being here today. I hope they enjoy their time in Seanad Éireann. I thank them for listening to this debate. Go raibh míle maith agaibh.
Sorry. There are two things. I forgot to give them no homework. The rule in the Seanad is that a visiting school does not have to do any homework for the rest of the week, so never come on a Thursday.
There has not been a round of applause in here in a long time, so I thank our visitors for the round of applause. The other thing is that I think Longford is playing in a final. Is it? Yes. You should bet on Longford. That is all I am saying.
Sorry. Do not bet on Longford. Get your parents to bet on Longford. I thank the Senator for the clarification.
I welcome to the Visitors Gallery a group from the ESB in Tralee who I understand are here to mark the forthcoming retirement of their colleague Hilda Doody. They are most welcome to Seanad Éireann. Not only is Hilda retiring after nearly four decades of service, she is doing so on the June Bank Holiday weekend, the weekend of a wedding in the family. Congratulations. It is going to be a big weekend in Kilflynn. I also welcome Donal O’Connor, Margaret O’Connor, Catherine Walsh, Bernie Keane and Jackie Scanlon. Than…
If it is the Senator's passion, he can talk about bingo.
I join the Cathaoirleach in offering our congratulations to Congressman Tim Kennedy, who is replacing Congressman Higgins, so one Irish-American is replacing another. Congressman Kennedy is from Buffalo in upstate New York, and is a great Joycean scholar, as well as a great supporter of the University at Buffalo. I know he will be engaged in all things Irish because he was very much involved in the New York American-Irish Legislators Society, which has been there for many years. Today is May Day and today the Legac…
Amendment No. 1 in the names of Senators Mullen and Keogan has been ruled out of order.
Senator Mullen, you need to be careful in your language. The Minister is in the House-----
I ask you to be careful of your language in terms of Members but also Ministers who come to this House.
Before we continue I welcome to the Seanad Chamber Deputy Richard O'Donoghue and his wife Kay, who is the boss, along with Gillian, Joan, and Niamh. They are most welcome to Seanad Éireann. I thank them for being here.
As I said at the start, the proposer of an amendment can come back in once on Report Stage.
Amendments Nos. 3, 4 and 7 are related and may be discussed together, by agreement. Is that agreed? Agreed.
Will the Senators claiming a division please rise?
As fewer than five Members have risen I declare the amendment lost. In accordance with Standing Order 61 the names of the Senators dissenting will be recorded in the Journal of the Proceedings of the Seanad.
As it is now 3.15 p.m., I am obliged to put the following question in accordance with the order of the Seanad of this day: "That Fourth Stage is hereby completed and the Bill is hereby received for final consideration; and the Bill is hereby passed."
Vótáil.
